writing and reading

For a couple of weeks we have been doing descriptive writing and reading about this story about a kid named Hugo, he was a normal kid that lived in Paris and he was a clock fixer and so was his dad. Hugo went to the museum and snuck into the addic of the museum and found this robot called an anotamion or something like that. the anotmation was holding a pen and paper but it wasn’t finished. So Hugo went back to his dad and told him about the robot so his dad went to the robot and the museum caught on fire. So now Hugo is an orphan now and has to live with his uncle. Hugo’s uncle was really mean to him and forced him to do his work for him. That is all that we got up to. Any ways my writing is about a kid named Matteo that lives in olot in  spain and got lost and followed a creepy old man into a alley way and got even more lost. Hope you liked my blog. STEM

We are doing egg drop challenge for stem. I am working with Luke .we have made a parachute using a old stinky chip bag. We are going to put cotton balls under the egg in a plastic container, we are using string to hold the old stinky chip bag. We have to drop it off 3 metres hopefully it doesn’t crack! the winner gets lollies like lollie pops and fruit burst. This stem challenge will be really hard.

Vaping

On Wednesday we did this science thing about vaping and smoking. There was this guy that was teaching us about how smoking and vaping is bad. He told us about nicotine and how bad it is and how hard it is to stop. We got to smell vapes and they smelt good, which is the point so that younger people would buy them. There was 2 pig lungs 1 was nicotine affected and 1 was normal. We could puff them up and the normal lung would inflate more them the nicotine lung. There was also a camera with a filter that made it look like you smoked a vape. There was some fake teeth with weird looking teeth.

Hello we have been making painted rocks for little kids to know what to do like the values Manaakitanga, Tautio, Rangatiratanga and Whanaunatanga we paint them as stuff then we put message on back of the rocks like “Tautio don’t step on plants” or “Manaakitanga say good morning to people”. I made my rocks a blue guy, a lemon, a egg and a orange we haven’t written anything on them yet but we are going to today I think. We will hide them today as well probably hope you liked my blog. have you ever painted rock?

Production and art and handwriting and maths

Good morning we are working on doing our production about Alice and west land. I am doing the lighting with Caleb and Luke, Costume and Props. I am making costumes for possum 1 and 2 and the triplets with Luke and Caleb. We had to audition for our roles but I didn’t want to be in any role. I am making sofa and bush, Jug and weird drink. For art we made these weaving things and they were super boring to make because all you did was make art and then ruin it by cutting it and putting sticks through it. For handwriting we did sounds like ed, ly, ves and more. For maths we did this weird times tables maths thing and I did 1 times tables it was kinda hard to be honest like 1 x 3 I thought it is 4 but I don’t know. Hope you have good day. I I

Steam

We did stem this week we did balloon powered cars my car is best and it doesn’t have wheels though. my car is called balloon. Josh Finnian and Luke won and they got lollies I got 5th place. have you ever seen balloon powered cars??? I don’t have a picture of my balloon so Chewie instead

Harold

We did Harold this term. We learnt about food and water. There are 5 groups of food there is grain, milk and milk products, sometimes food and fruit and vegetables. He told us about the different blood cells. There is red blood cells which they are just normal, white blood cells which kill the germs and protein fibrin which makes the scabs. Fun fact less than 1% of blood is protein fibrin and white blood cells.

Trip at the bug museum gone wrong. snowball writing

At school we did snowball writing. Snowball writing is where you take a page you write on it and then you screw it up and throw it on the floor. Then people grab your writing and finish it for you. My writing was originally about a big spider eating everyone. Then it turned into defeating Super Shrek.

This is my story.

I went to school then, we went to the bug museum. 30 minutes later there was a rumbling. I looked out the window and there was a big hairy leg. It was a spider leg. I’m scared the big leg broke the roof and the big spider ate Finnian. I’m really scared now. But then stinky Dave came. 

 

Dave flew into the spider and died. R.I.P Stinky Dave. So captain undies came but he died. R.I.P captain undies. So OmniLouis came and started to laser the spider, soon the spider had no legs. So… It bit OmniLouis. R.I.P. Who can save  us now!!!… “Super Shrek!!!” “Who said that?” 

“ME!!!”

 

Maybe we can call for back up so all of their friends came to kill Super Shrek although he was so hard to defeat. Everyone was trying their best but they couldn’t because he is too strong. After the fight which lasted for 5 minutes he finally died  so at the end they had a party and they were doing gritty on him and like dancing on him.

Soccer

Last week we did soccer torment. We versed a lot of teams like peroa blacks but that’s all I remember. I was goalie once and the rest of my team were goalie once. My team was Caleb B, Caleb M, Dakota, Emma, Max A and Tara. The peroa blacks were very mean to us. We got a free ball also
