My week

This week we had Mrs.King.    I made a sheep picture with fluffy spots on it.  We did P.E on Wednesday and we did sea weed which is a game where people go in a row and there are two or three taggers, and Mr.Butler says seaweed and every one runs to the other side and if the taggers tag you you need to stand there and move around like an piece of seaweed.

Writing

This week  we did a dimantae poem.  First we had to brain storm two opposites.  Then we needed to make adjectives for both of them.  Next we did some nouns and some verbs for both of them.  Then we did a new slide and put a dimond shape then we put all those words togther and finaly we did the dimantae poem. I put a geko and an elephant for the opposites.

this week we did a diamante poem.  first of we needed to choose two opposites.  Then we needed to do things that they do.  Then we added a dimiond and added some text and the top I put a geko and at the bottom I put a elephant because they are opposites. In the middle of the dimond I put squeak bugs and then stomp loud.

Cinquan

This week piwakawaka did a cinquan.  Cinquans are 5 line poems.  I did mine about eggs.  We needed to make a slide that had a subject, a adjective and a verb. Then we needed to type in a subject mine was egg.  Next we needed to type in some adjectives mine was white, round, smooth, yum, food and yummy.  Then we needed to do some verbs mine was Eating, hard, scrambled, poached and boiled.  Next we needed to make another slide and I made the title eggs.  then we put the adjectives in then the verbs and then I put FOOD at the bottom.

beach clean up

Yesterday Piwakawaka did beach clean up.  in total there where 601 rubbish, 239 plastic, 48 papaer, 62 metal, 35 butts, 190 glass, 15 matarial, 6 wood and 6 mixed.  We did it because we wanted to clean the world because if the rubbish goes into the sea the w0rld will get trashed up.  It was apart of the Enviroschools work with Sustainable Coastlines.  The most intresting thing that I saw was the pants with slugs all over it.  It was very fun doing it!

Ruru Reading LP

This week we did a reading project called The lucky house first, we looked at some words that we didn’t know, then we had to match picters with the word then we needed to do some questions like “Why was Tanya moving so fast” and “Why was grandpa sick”. Here is some picters of my work.

 

 

soccer

On Tuesday Piwakawaka played soccer with Mr Butler.  First we were put into buddys, then we needed to keep the ball away from our buddys.  Next we where put into teams.  the other team won
